Weddings are quite overwhelming and utterly time-consuming. Brides want to be able to trust their first look+feel is handled with the utmost creativity and care. You, the bride, want to be able to trust your designer is taking great care of your design stationery all while you enjoy being the “bride-to-be”, having cocktails with your bridesmaids, getting showered with pre-marital gifts, and finalizing all those other planning tasks that we all know can be all-consuming. That’s where I step in. You and I will develop a personalized design aesthetic that represents you and your fiance. This process won’t only be stress-free, but it will be down right fun!

Currently, Rita Alexis Design offers only custom design. In the future, I will offer design-ready themes for those busy + budget-friendly brides. If you'd like quotes on custom papers, printing methods and quantities, I can definitely price those out for a small fee–please allow for more time for this quoting process.

DISCOVERY MEETING

Review moodboard, typeface choices, and copy options. Allow for 1+ week for all the previous steps (and this one)

DESIGN + REVISIONS

I’ll design 3 different design options for you to choose from.

From there, you’ll have 3 rounds of revisions. Allow for at least 4-5 weeks for design development.

Based on your invite, I’ll design 3 different design options for you to choose from.

You’ll have 2 rounds of revisions. Allow for 2-3 weeks for revisions.

FINAL APPROVAL

I will snail mail you one physical mockup (ink-jet printer), as well as a digital final for your final sign off. After approval, allow for 2-4 weeks for printing (depending on print method). Allow 1 week of shipping and 1 week for production (if needed).

FINAL DELIVERY

Once all paperwork and payment is finalized, you’ll receive your goodies via mail or hand-delivered! I’ll highlight your beautiful design on my blog and social media! Yay!


Timeline

As these are custom invitations, it is important to factor in the time needed for design, printing, production, and mailing for these printed items. Above, you'll see some time suggestions. Below, I've simplified a bit more. 

SAVE THE DATES

Guests should have in-hand 6-8 months before wedding date (8-10 months for destination weddings).

INVITATIONS

Guests should have in-hand 2 months before wedding date (3 months for destination weddings).

DESIGN PROCESS

The custom design process above takes about 3-4 months total.


Investment

Rita Alexis Design specializes in exemplifying who you and your love are; therefore, custom design is my speciality. Custom design is a one-of-kind design and collaborative experience—you and I will be working together to ensure your big day express your love. However, I’ll do all the heavy-lifting. I'll design you a mood board, choose typefaces, color palettes, design your invites, and send them to print where I will handle the printer relations. You get to relax and enjoy your wedding planning process knowing your wedding day aesthetic is in good-hands. Coupled with teaming up with a creative expert, relinquishing in that peace-of-mind, and being able to actually enjoy your planning process, just like any other wedding expense; you’re paying for a tangible quality (and quite adorable) product. Additionally, your guests will be greeted to a cohesive experience from the time they receive that save-the-date, to the programs, to the seating chart. Your day will surely amaze!
