Modern Mexican Styled Shoot Featured on 100 Layer Cake

Honored. Exhilarated. Awe-struck. Humbled. These are only a few of the words I am feeling over this amazing feat. I'm not quite sure if there is a word for "squeals-in-excitement-with-a-grin-from-ear-to-ear," but if there is, that's what I'm feeling :) Want to know why? Check out below! (or read the title... hehe)

I've been honored and lucky to work with the talented Kelsey McManamy of K2 Event Production. She chose an AMAZINGLY creative and talented bunch of ladies for a modern Mexican styled shoot. Of course, anything with Kelsey pretty much turns to design gold, so I was all-in! However, getting to work with Betsie Wing and the rest of the talented crew was such an honor! And since the shoot was inspired by the Mexican culture, of which I am half Mexican, I was EXUBERANT! (Is my excitement too much?!) Hours of design, production (thanks, hubs!), and collaboration… then... THIS WAS THE RESULT.

A Feature on 100 Layer Cake!!!

I mean, come on! How gorgeous is this? The venue alone, The Ruby Street (my momma’s name, by the way), can be left as-is and shine on it’s own. Those stained glass windows are beyond amazing. But the way that Kelsey and Karrie (who is JUST as awesome as Kelsey) put all of these wonderful talent together to design and coordinate this GORGEOUS styled shoot is incredible. Did I mention Kelsey was pregnant during all of this?! Yep. She’s a bit of a super woman :) Does she sound familiar? If so, good memory! I collaborated with her to design her wedding invitations which were also featured on Style Me Pretty!
