WHIMSICAL WEDDING

Now as for the big day? We both wanted to wow people with the whimsical, fun and light-hearted playfulness that Sean and I worked so hard to achieve in our relationship. Huge crepe paper flower alter backdrop, giant crepe paper bouquets and boutonnieres, as well as table flowers served as our main piece. Another hit were the drawings I did of our table names (all sports figures we both love) and the drawings of our wedding party. 

As cumbersome and busy as it was, we had a blast creating every piece. From the entrance designed posters "Hey Gorgeous", to the the aisle poem signs, to the programs and menus, to the sports-themed escort playing cards, to the "How they know us" signs for our wedding party, to making every one of those piñata wedding favors, to painting our cake toppers and spray painting everything gold (so much gold!), we wouldn't change a thing! (Well, maybe we'd ask the weather Gods to take the heat down from 95 degrees and the wind to knock it off!)

It was a bit of a challenge trying to manage, coordinate, and be the bride; but once I walked down that aisle and saw that handsome face, I let go of wedding planner/designer and become his wife.
